Gabriel serves as an Advisor for FISUAMERICAS (International University Sports Federation of the Americas) on the 2024-2028 Committee and chairs the students' committee.
He is the President of ADEUPA (University Sports Association of Panama) for the 2022-2026 term, representing both public and private universities in Panama. Prior to this role, he was the sports manager at UMIP (Universidad Marítima Internacional de Panamá).
Since 2020, Gabriel has been the Founder and Owner of Slam Basketball Academy. He has also been coaching the Under-16 team at the Román Torres Soccer Academy since 2018.
In addition, Gabriel is the Ambassador for ITK Panamá for the International Trainer Course at the University of Leipzig, Germany, a role he has held since 2017.
Previously, from 2013 to 2018, Gabriel was the General Secretary of ADEUPA. He represented Panama at the Summer Universiade in Gwangju, South Korea, and was designated as a voting member at the FISU (International University Sports Federation) General Assembly in Lausanne, Switzerland, in 2015.
